Ethiopian Airlines Group has announced a partnership with the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) PreCheck program, promising a more streamlined travel experience for its customers departing from the United States.

Ethiopian Airlines Group has partnered with the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) PreCheck program to provide faster security screening for its passengers departing from the United States.

The TSA PreCheck program allows expedited security screening for eligible travelers, enabling them to bypass certain standard security procedures such as removing shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as keeping laptops and 3-1-1 liquids in their bags, when passing through dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes. TSA PreCheck ensures a faster and more secure airport security process, with passengers typically waiting less than 10 minutes in dedicated lanes. Ethiopian Airlines passengers departing from Atlanta, Chicago, Newark, New York, and Washington will now have access to this convenient service.

Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its significance in enhancing passenger experience and reinforcing the airline's commitment to superior service.

In addition to this partnership, Ethiopian Airlines is expanding its network with a new destination in India. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation on July 30, 2024, in New Delhi, to add flights to Hyderabad. This agreement will increase the airline's service capacity from 35 to 38 flights per week in each direction.
