Tamesol Communication and LYAN Business Group, in collaboration with Acentic Solutions, are set to organize this year's New Year’s exhibition and bazaar. During a press conference held today at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, it was announced that numerous traders will participate in the expo to showcase their products and services.

The event is dubbed “CBE Birr Expo 2017” and is scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 10 at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Center. It aims to cater to the needs of sellers, visitors, and consumers and will focus on various aspects from aesthetics to operational efficiency. It is also expected to draw over 400 local and international organizations, with an estimated attendance of more than half a million people.

The expo will feature over ten themed villages, each dedicated to different sectors, making it easier for visitors to navigate and find specific products and services. Additionally, 35 singers are slated to perform during the event, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Tamesol Communication also announced that several lottery games will be available for visitors. Those purchasing a Birr 100 ticket through CBE Birr will receive a lot number, giving them a chance to win prizes. As part of the event, a campaign to introduce the upgraded application of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia called 'CBE Plus' has been launched. The goal is to have the application installed one million times by the bank's customers.
