CIC is a major player in the chemical industry, managing key facilities such as the Muger Cement Factory, Adami Tulu Pesticide Processing Factory, Awash Melkasa Chemical Factory, Batu Caustic Soda Factory, and the Rubber Tree Development and Production Project. The corporation supplies chemical products not only domestically but also to international markets.

The corporation cultivates rubber trees across over 6,000 hectares of land in Oromia and Southwest Ethiopia regions, with a current planting count exceeding half a million trees. This initiative is projected to yield up to 30 tons of rubber per month. The rubber tree development and production project not only caters to domestic demand but also aims to generate foreign currency through exports to international markets.
