The "China – Ethiopia Agriculture and Mining Industry Cooperation Fair" (Ethio-China Fair) brought together Ethiopian and Chinese businesses on May 16th in Addis Ababa. Organized by several Ethiopian and Chinese entities, the fair aimed to foster collaboration between the two countries.

Ethiopian and Chinese officials, including Ambassador Negus Kebede and Mr. Wu Zhaoshu, emphasized the event's importance in facilitating networking and industry cooperation. Representatives from Ethiopian investment agencies, business associations, and 36 Chinese companies participated.

A dedicated Business-to-Business session focused on potential investment, trade, and procurement projects in mining, agriculture, and other sectors. The Chinese delegation, visiting Ethiopia from May 13-16, viewed the Ethio-China Fair as a key platform to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
