Lelise Neme, Commissioner of Ethiopian Investment Commission, and Moroccan Ambassador, Nesha Aloui, recently held a meeting to discuss strategies for enhancing investment opportunities across various sectors in Ethiopia.
As a result, they reached an agreement to organize a business forum in Addis Ababa in 2024, with the aim of deepening investment and trade relations between the two nations.
The forthcoming business forum will serve as a significant platform for businesses from both countries to discover new investment prospects and foster mutually beneficial partnerships. Anticipated to attract a diverse range of participants, including government officials, business leaders, and investors, the event holds immense potential for networking and collaboration.
This initiative follows the visits of two Moroccan banking delegations to Ethiopia earlier this year, representing Attijariwafa Bank and Bank of Africa, respectively. These visits demonstrated the keen interest of Moroccan financial institutions in exploring business prospects in Ethiopia.
