Ethiopia's "Women Business Expo 2023" has begun in Addis Ababa, with the event being held at the Skylight Hotel and organized by Malesa Events. The three-day expo aims to boost women's access, competitiveness, and participation in business, providing a platform for female entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and business leaders to exchange experiences and discuss their work. Attendees can also explore a range of products produced by women entrepreneurs and create market linkages.

Dr. Ergoge, the Minister of Women and Social Affairs, emphasized that the government is not only striving to create permanent job opportunities but also to empower job seekers to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs by developing policies and strategies to create favorable conditions. The event is expected to be attended by more than 35,000 people, with over 100 organizations participating.
