Benishangul Gumuz Regional State has made available 69,000 hectares of land for investors interested in various sectors, including agriculture and tourism. Amente Geshi, the Head of Benishangul Gumuz Regional Land and Investment Bureau, noted that investors had many options in which they could invest in Benishangul Gumuz, including mineral resources, coal, gold, marble, granite, incense production, and horticulture.
The official also highlighted the potential for investment in irrigation development, fish farming, tourism, the hotel sector, and agriculture following the construction of the Nile Dam. He emphasized that the economic benefits of the dam alone were significant and should not be overlooked. With the construction nearing completion, many job opportunities will soon be available, making it an excellent opportunity for investors to develop Benishangul Gumuz and enter the area.
