South Sudan licensed Tele Mobile which would be the fourth telecom service provider in the country after MTN, D.G. TEL, and Zain Telecom.
According to Andualem Admassu (PhD), CEO of the Tele Mobile, the company would work towards connecting East and Central Africa. The telecom company appointed Andualem as its CEO in January this year. The CEO worked for Ethio Telecom for eight years.
It is to be recalled that a delegation from Ethio Telecom paid a visit to South Sudan recently and signed a partnership agreement with Tele Mobile South Sudan on international internet gateways and communication lines, telecom infrastructure expansion, and the provision of telecom services.
