The Ministry of Labour and Skills (MoLS) revealed that it was ready to host the 15th Global Entrepreneurship Week. According to Nigussu Tilahun, State Minister of MoLS, Ethiopia will celebrate the week for the 9th time under the theme “Million Challenges Million Opportunities”.

Various programs are scheduled for the week including seminars where papers on entrepreneurship would be presented by scholars. MoLS will also be facilitating trainings, discussions, and experience sharing events which are prepared to create awareness about entrepreneurship.

The Ministry plans to launch media campaigns and awareness creation events on job creation with a view to reducing unemployment and solving challenges related to unemployment.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week was created in 2008 by the Global Entrepreneurship Network to encourage potential entrepreneurs to start their own businesses.
