Ethio Telecom launched a cloud computing service called telecloud as part of its three years LEAD growth strategy to enhance and modernize the business transactions of its customers.
The telecom offers three types of cloud services which allow institutions to store, compile, and access various services virtually from data centers built by digital solution providers without the need to build their own data centers. These cloud services are Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
IaaS allows the customers of the telecom to store their personal information and compile and provide services. Software developers can use PaaS to utilize a complete database management system for their developed software. On the other hand, SaaS provides a platform where its users can access softwares by paying for their license fees in Birr.
Customers of the telecom who want to use telecloud can get its services by accessing telecloud.ethiotelecom.et. Fees for the services will payed through Telebirr.
