Ambassador Redwan Hussein, Ethiopia's State Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a discussion with Shell H. Choo, CEO of the Korean company EKOS STEEL Mill PLC. During their discussion, the CEO called for the government's continued support, and said his company is working with the Ethiopian embassy in Seoul to attract similar companies in Korea to invest in Ethiopia.
The CEO said there are Korean companies that have shown interest in being involved in industrial parks development in Ethiopia. He also pointed out a plan to organize an exhibition of agricultural machinery at the company's premises in Dukem Industrial District.
The CEO pointed out they seek the Ethiopian government's continued support to utilize their maximum production capacity.
Ambassador Redwan, for his part, appreciating EKOS STEEL Mill PLC's engagement in strengthening the manufacturing industry in Ethiopia, vowed the government's support for this and other eligible Korean companies interested in joining the Ethiopian investment ecosystem.
