House of Peoples’ Representatives (HPR) has endorsed yesterday, July 1, 2015, three loan agreements, according to Ethiopian News Agency.

HPR endorsed a 50 million Euro loan agreement secured from the French Development Agency (FDA) for the construction of light train and fast lane to ease the transportation problem of Addis Ababa.

It also approved a 9 million and 7.5 million Euro loan agreements secured from the FDA for the implementation of the first phase of the Tendaho Geothermal Development Project.

Additionally, a 50 million USD loan agreement obtained from Polish government was also ratified by HPR for the procurement of modern equipment for sugarcane plantation.
