An international trade fair and bazaar organized in connection with the 8th Nations, Nationalities and People’s Day opened in Jijjiga town, Somali Regional State on Tuesday, Walta Information Center reported.

Trade State Minister Ali Siraj and Speaker of the Somali Regional State Council, Mohamed Reshid, opened the trade fair jointly organized by the Somali Regional State and the House of Federation (HoF).

The event saw the participation of 144 local and 32 foreign companies as well as 82 micro and small enterprises. The trade fair will remaine open until December 11, 2013.
