Ries Engineering Share Company (RESCO) started its operation in 1961 as an engineering department of Paul Ries & Sons (Ethiopia) Ltd. It was established as an independent company in its present premises in 1965 G.C.

RESCO represents the following internationally reputed companies at Present:

• AGCO Corporation, covering Massey Ferguson and Challenger
• FORD
• DRESSTA
• AMMANN

In 2010 the company expanded its operation to be major player in the automotive sector representing the Ford Motor Company.

It now imports and distributes well known and liked Ford products; like Ranger pick-up trucks and Everest SUVs in Ethiopia.

In order to reach its customers wherever they are, it has increased its coverage through a branch network that is fully staffed and equipped with required resources to exceed customer expectations.
