It is one of the leading providers of hydrogeological, hydrological, and engineering design services, Environmental issues, planning & community promotion in the country.
The firm was established with the support of federal and regional water resources to build the capacity of private consultants engaged in Water supply, Sanitation & hygiene services.
Even though the firm was established to provide General Development consultancy services, it focuses its services on the areas of Water Resources, Sanitation & Environmental Assessment.

Vision: -We aspire to see our firm as the leading consulting firm in providing quality consultancy service at a reasonable cost.
Mission:- The company renders consultancy services in preparation and training on result-based strategic plans and follow-up up its implementation, water supply resources assessment by hydrological, hydrogeological, and surface geophysical and remote sensing investigation techniques, water supply system and sanitation facilities study & design, construction supervision, pumping test for estimation of yield, water quality evaluation, electromechanical installation, scheme inventory, training on operation & maintenance of schemes, training of local artisans, construction of sanitation facilities and awareness creation on environmental health care services and business plan preparation.

i.e. Water resource detail investigation and Construction supervision & Administration.
The team members are professionally equipped and have ample practical experience in both water source development and Water supply, Sanitation & Hygiene services.
The company will Provide consultancy services in the areas of Engineering, Capacity building, Community development, Sanitation and Hygiene promotion, large and small water supply schemes study and design in both town & rural kebeles, Contract Administration & construction supervision, Strategic plan, Environmental Impact Assessment and Business Planning and preparation to meet the needs of our clients.
To accomplish its basic purpose, for its strength and growth the company will engage in other business sectors by itself and /or in collaboration with other business organizations, firms, individuals, or NGOs in the form of joint venture share companies and/or other firms.
As we have stated above, the firm has ample experience in the areas of the water sector in general & Water supply, Sanitation & Hygiene in particular.
Some of the major activities undertaken are providing different pieces of training, strategic plan preparation, study & design of town and rural small and large schemes, and construction supervision of those studied schemes.
Organizational Structure
Laliftu General Development Consulting PLC is structured in a way that it can easily achieve its objectives.
It will be restructured/re-engineered based on the change in technology, time, economy, size of the firm, etc.
The General Manager with other management members takes the responsibility of leading the organization, other experts and supporting staff are the key components of the firm for the successful operation of the company.
Project Managers are assigned to all projects.
