Its manufacturing facility and agent distributor are located in Sidama industry park development corporation Bulicha industry zones of Hawassa city which are 273 km away from Addis Ababa. In addition to implementing the food safety management system the company. we will have ISO 2200:2018 certified.

Our company expanded another business which is a response to the gap that has been created by inadequate purified iodized salt demand in Ethiopia. The expansion business founded the company with approximately birr 60,000,000 capital, established as a private limited company in 2013. At present, it has a total of 123 employees.

The main unit operation of the process is convoying salt, sorting foreign matters, washing, dewatering, drying, sieving, and packing. Our production capacity is 50 quintals per hour and we also produce different types of products such as 50 kg purified and iodized common salt,50 kg purified industrial salt,50 kg fine industrial salt,1kg purified iodized table salt,700 gm jar purified iodized table salt and 500 gm Purified iodized table salt. All production process machinery is food grade steeliness steal 304 material and packing materials are food grade.

Our product brand name is DEGES Iodized salt.

Our customers include major wholesale distributors in the country; supermarkets, retailer shops, cooperative unions, institutional buyers including hotels, restaurants, catering and food processing companies as well as leather, chemical, and textile industries.
