GTD Engineering and Trade PLC is a business organization in Ethiopia established to engage in waterworks construction, water drilling, mining, vegetables and fruits grown by irrigation, as well as import and export. Established on 14/01/2012 EC at Nekemte town with a registered capital of Br 1,200,000.00, its owners have rich experiences in various fields including water drilling and agricultural farming.

The business organization is owned by Dr. Geremew Lemessa Duressa, Dereje Worku Tesso and Tewodros Temesgen Gemeda, with shares equally distributed among them. Dr. Geremew Lemessa Duressa leads the company as the general manager.

Regarding the business experiences of the owners, all of the owners have rich experiences, for instance, in water drilling and agricultural farm. 

Now, following the government policy/strategy in promoting private investors to engage in the engineering industry, the owners of GTD Engineering and Trade PLC have requested the government to give them an investment license for the land size of 100ha in order to produce vegetables and fruits with irrigation from the Gibe river with surface irrigation approach during the dry season, and via rain-fed method during the rainy season, in Gala Gure Kebele of Boneya Boshe Wereda. The owners are highly energetic and motivated entrepreneurs.
